Every Saturday morning (weather permitting) members of the Wenatchee Velo meet for a group rides in the Wenatchee Valley. This year we have 3 weekly rides to choose from:
Saturday Road Ride
This group meets each week in front of Biosports Physical Therapy. Leave at 9:30AM sharp. Non-members are welcome.
We ride in 3 different groups each Saturday to ensure that people of all abilities can join us and have the opportunity to meet other people in the Wenatchee valley who also enjoy cycling:
Group A – 16mph+ average, 35+ miles
Group B – 14-16mph average, 20-35 miles
The routes change each week so be sure to check the Wenatchee Valley Velo Facebook page on Fridays.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the ride is due to commence.
Saturday Beginners’ Road Ride
This group meets each Saturday in the Arlberg’s Sports parking lot and departs at 10:00am. It is a beginners’ ride that usually stays on the Loop Trail and averages 11-12mph. This ride goes for 20-25 miles and takes two or three rest stops to regroup. There will be at least one hand cycle. During the middle of summer this ride may leave earlier to avoid high temperatures – these times TBA.
Saturday Sage Hills Mountain Bike Ride
Wenatchee Valley Velo is offering a mountain bike ride every Saturday at 8:00 am, from April through November (weather permitting). First ride is Saturday, April 7.
This ride will leave from Ridge Cycle on 5th street, (behind Western Market). Mic LcLane is your ride leader. More information can be found on this Facebook event page.
If you’re interested in joining the Wenatchee Valley Velo (for just $35 a year single membership and $45 for a family membership), please pop along to one of our weekend rides and speak to a member of the team. Membership dues are crucial in keeping the club and all the activities we support moving forward. Wenatchee Valley Velo thanks you in advance!
