Rules of the road

Wenatchee Valley Velo Club always stresses cycling safety, whether it involves an individual or a group out riding, one of our events or VeloWebsite28programs, or a community issue or project. As a Velo Club, we obey the rules of the road, we are friendly and courteous to motorists. When riding as a group, we ask that everyone use hand and voice commands while making a left or right turn or when slowing and coming to a stop.
A lot of people are using the Loop Trail. Cyclist, runners, in-line skaters and walkers are using the loop. Please be respectful of others using the Loop Trail. When coming up behind someone shout, “Bike up and on your left” Say this far enough in advance that they can move out of the way if need be.
