Bike to Work Day

May 18, 2018

Did you know that 40% of all trips in the U.S. are less than two miles? This makes bicycling a feasible and fun way to get to work. With increased interest in healthy, sustainable and economic transportation options, it’s not surprising that, from 2000 to 2013, the number of bicycle commuters in the U.S. grew by more than 62 percent.

We hope you will participate in Bike to Work Day on May 18th to encourage our community to cycle safely to work. It’s a healthy transportation option for your body and your planet!

Plus, cyclists who ride to Garlini’s Restaurant between 11:30-1:30 enjoy free pizza!

Sponsored by:
North 40 Productions, Garlini’s Restaurant, Wenatchee Valley Velo, and Wenatchee Valley Brewing.

National Bike to Work Day promotes the bicycle as a healthy and safe alternative for commuting to work.
